Blake Lively stars as Serena van der Woodsen in The CW’s hit drama “Gossip Girl,” from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (executive producers of “The O.C.”), based on the tremendously popular book series about privileged teenagers in New York City. Lively has won three Teen Choice Awards for her performance in the series.
Lively was seen this past summer starring in Oliver Stones film “Savages” opposite Salma Hayek, John Travolta and Benico Del Torre. Additionally in 2012 she appeared in the indie film “Hick” opposite Chole Moritz. In 2011, Blake was awarded CinemaCons “Breakthrough Performer of the Year” on the heels of starring in “The Green Lantern” and the critically acclaimed film “The Town” directed and starring Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm.
In November 2009, Lively starred in Rebecca Miller’s “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” with Robin Wright Penn and Maria Bello. She had her film debut in 2005 as Bridget in the Warner Bros. hit “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” and then reprised her role in the film’s sequel, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” in August 2008. Lively also appeared on the big screen starring alongside Justin Long and Jonah Hill in Universal’s “Accepted,” directed by Steve Pink (writer of “High Fidelity”), as well as the independent feature “Elvis & Annabelle,” starring opposite Max Minghella and Mary Steenburgen.
Lively is the face of Gucci’s newest perfume, “Premiere.”
