Jessica Lowndes (pronounced Lounds) plays troubled teen-turned-pop-star-sensation, "Adrianna" on The CW's hit drama "90210."
Lowndes made her theatrical film debut in the 2008 horror film "The Haunting of Molly Hartley," and was most recently seen starring in the Anchor Bay thriller "Altitude," in which she plays a rookie pilot whose weekend getaway flight turns into a horrific battle for survival.
An aspiring singer-songwriter in real life, Lowndes provides her own vocals for all of the songs she sings on "90210" and she independently produced several of the tracks (including "Haven't Been Drinkin'" and "Stamp Of Love") and licensed them to the show. Her song "Goodbye" was featured prominently in an episode of "Moonlight." Lowndes recently collaborated with UK hip hop artist Ironik on the single "Falling in Love." The single charted in the top 40 in the UK and the video has been viewed over 3 million times on YouTube. During her downtime, Lowndes is working with top music producers across the globe to complete her first album.
Lowndes was discovered in her hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2005 by the producers of Showtime's anthology series "Masters of Horror." After landing a starring role in Tobe Hooper's apocalyptic film "Dance of the Dead," Lowndes finished high school and moved to Hollywood to improve her talent and pursue her vocation.
Her other television credits include a recurring role on "Greek" and a starring role in Ryan Murphy's "Pretty Handsome" transgender pilot, which has developed a cult-like following despite the fact the show did not go to series.
